VersusBox Methodology

How we compare, and where the data comes from.

1. How comparisons work

Every product in our database is mapped to a standardised set of spec keys for its category. When you compare two products, we show the shared specs side by side. The per-row "winner" is determined by an objective numeric value — higher or lower depending on the spec direction (e.g., bigger is better for battery, lower is better for weight).

2. Prices — where they come from

Prices shown are estimated Saudi market averages. We collect them from Saudi retailers (Jarir, eXtra, noon, Amazon.sa) and adjust for storage capacity, warranty, and promotions. Prices are displayed in Saudi Riyal with a ±15% range. Last reviewed: June 2026.

3. Review cadence

Prices are reviewed monthly. New products are added within a week of their Saudi market launch. Specs are updated based on manufacturer announcements.

4. Impartiality

VersusBox receives no commission or sponsorship from manufacturers. There are no "featured products" or preferential ordering. Every row in the comparison table is calculated automatically from the numbers alone. Retailer links are plain outbound links — no affiliate programs are active at this time (a placeholder exists for future integration).
